i may be getting out of automotive repair for a while, got an offer from Gulfstream to come back and work for them as an aviation sheetmetal fabricator. its a very very very hard offer to pass up,(near double what i made there previously and over 5 times what i make now at AutoWorks) but the aviation industry is very unstable right now. and i know if i stay in automotive the money is no where near as good, but i will always have a job. _________________ If a 460 Foxstang were human, it would have grown up in a nieghborhood where they used man hole covers as frisbees |

well guys, its official. i start at Gulfstream again the 23rd. if the economy doesnt hold up i can always get back into turning wrenches. its bitter sweet, i love my job now. but the money just isnt right and i cant keep bustin' my back side for that kind of money. _________________ If a 460 Foxstang were human, it would have grown up in a nieghborhood where they used man hole covers as frisbees |

Today was my last day. I start gulfstream Monday. Couldn't have left on a better note.
Oh yea, I couldn't help but laugh when I was loading up my tools. My boss blew an engine in a customers vehicle... _________________ If a 460 Foxstang were human, it would have grown up in a nieghborhood where they used man hole covers as frisbees |
